How to sell that NaNoWriMo project!

Since it’s the last week of NaNoWriMo…I know many of you are wondering…what next? Well, AFTER you go through the plot and look for all the essential scenes, and make sure the structure is correct, and have the right ending, and then go through every scene and add all the storyworld and emotional layers, and after you proof it (and we’ll cover ALL this on next Monday’s blog!)…

the next step is to sell it! And you do this by writing a proposal.

But…how? Can I suggest…

The Novel Proposal
How to create an outstanding book proposal!

Listen – I know how frustrating it is to work on a novel…only to have it rejected. The worst part is that most books on how to create a proposal tell you what to put in it…but not how to pull out the amazing, brilliant sellable elements of your novel. Those things an agent or editor really want to know about your book.
But that’s our specialty at My Book Therapy. Not just telling you what to do…
but how to do it.

Which is why I created…The Novel Proposal.
I am so excited about this product – it’s been months (okay, years!) in the making, but I’ve taken everything I know about selling novels (and I’ve sold 40 of my own, not to mention helped countless others with their proposal projects) and put them in this  step-by-step, 8 lesson video/audio series, complete with writable PDF handouts for you to fill out on your computer.

And examples from my own files.

And an easy method for writing that dreaded synopsisAnd even a template for the marketing part of your proposal (the yikes! part). It’s like a proposal paint-by-numbers!

And, oh yeah, an optional workbook for those who like to scribble out their ideas by hand.
Frankly, it’s everything just short of me coming to your living room and looking your shoulder while you put your proposal together. And probably you wouldn’t like that anyway, because I get hungry and I’d humbly ask for hot cocoa. And popcorn.
This is a popcorn free product.  But pretty much everything else is included.
AND…during the month of November (NaNoWriMo!_
