We’re at the end of the month and you’ve come through three weeks of discovery and planning to give the world the best of YOU that you can offer. That’s quite an accomplishment. Hopefully, over these last couple of weekends, you’ve discovered and embraced your area of creative genius. There’s no greater feeling than knowing you are operating in your areas of giftedness. The question now is do you want to make the greatest impact you possibly can in the world? If so, you need to use your time and resources pursuing those things. Ever heard the old saying, “fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me?” You’d think we would learn from our mistakes but those I coach report they seem to go around the same mistakes over and over again like they are on an emotional carrousel. I’ve done it myself more times than I care to admit. If we continue to make the same mistakes over and over again, it can be damaging to our emotional health in many ways.
