I hope you’re already dreaming up an inciting incident for your favorite premise! So, maybe it would help you know which way to vote if you knew who you were vote for. Here’s a bit of Background on our characters, using the simple WHO method for developing all the key pieces: Talk Show Host Who is she? She’s a foster child with a fractured past, always inventing herself. Always tried to be all things to all people. She never wants attention for herself, so she’s good at stepping outside herself, and highlights other people. She doesn’t know who she is, so it’s hard to be true to herself. Pick your Premise!

One thing I love about writing stories, is that regardless of the similar plots there, everyone has their own take on life, story, theme, etc. So many incredible VOICES in Club Book Therapy. Rachel and I spent the morning collecting all the ideas, sifting them together and trying to incorporate as many as we could to develop story ideas that we could possibly write! Recapping, you picked the Everyday Hero, and the Celebrity, (which I love). Some of the riveting ideas/themes were: Military guy-turned-Park Ranger, Celebrity being chased by Paparazzi, Previous Missionary turned Photographer, carrying dark secrets, Museum curator, Singer who did a USO tour, War in Iraq, town secrets, person connected to hero who died in the past….and the list goes on.
